Herpes, one of the most dangerous skin disasters and among the most widely spread STDs, has affected a large part of the human population today. A large part of the human population is suffering from Herpes today, making the number of cases to 50 million in the United State of America. Above 20% of the females and 25% of the total females in the USA are suffering from Herpes in today’s scenario. Herpes Mouth is also a form of Herpes, in which the infected part is the mouth of the individual. But to know about Herpes Mouth, one must be aware of Herpes at first. Herpes is a sin infectious disease as well an STD which results in very dangerous as well as contagious skin infections over the affected area. These infections are in the form of small blisters in groups, and may be over face, in mouth, on face, and in some cases at the genitals too. Herpes is caused by the Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV), which is divided into two main categories, namely HSV-1 and HSV-2. HSV-1 mainly causes the cases of Oral Herpes, while HSV-2 is responsible for Genital Herpes. Now the question comes what are Oral Herpes, Genital Herpes, and Herpes Mouth. Oral Herpes is the type of Herpes infection when the infections are in the form of small blisters in or near nose, in or around eyes, on cheeks, chin, and neck and on elbows too in some cases. These blisters are generally referred to as Cold Sores or Fever Blisters. To the contrary, in the general cases of the Genital Herpes, the similar infections may be there on the private body parts including the genitals, the sex organs, in or around the groin, on buttocks and sometimes in the opening of anus too. Usually HSv-1 is responsible for the cases of oral Herpes, while HSV-2 causes the dangerous Genital Herpes. But this statement is not always true, as both HSV-1 and HSV-2 are actually able to cause both the types of Herpes infections. For instance, if we talk about Herpes Mouth, it is not always sure if a person is suffering from Herpes Mouth that he/she is infected with the HSv-1, as the cause of Herpes Mouth can be HSV-2 too. Herpes Mouth is very contagious, as it can be spread to other healthy individuals from the infected ones through the means of touching the sores in active state, kissing, having Oral Sex or sharing towels, toothbrushes, tongue cleaners or other such stuff. So, one must stay away from Herpes Mouth by following the following precautions. First of all don’t use the items of an infected person, avoid kissing and the oral sexual activities with the unknowns or with the people whom you think may have Herpes. In this way you can stay away from Herpes. Herpes is an incurable disease, and herpes prevention is always better than herpes cure. So, be safe and free from Herpes Mouth in order to sustain a well healthy life.
